We're Back! Again.

What's up, beautiful people? Happy New Year!!

Mikali Martika here and it's officially the second week of 2022 and I've missed you all terribly.

I know, I know!

I've been the literal worst at keeping up with this blog but I swear to you all it was worth it. Like the rest of you, 2021 was a dumpster fire on wheels, and baby I crashed and burned. Hard!

With more covid variants popping up than villains in the new Spider-Man movie, my business and personal life have been in shambles. However, not one to make excuses and like ol' Saint Nick held up at TSA, I deliver late Christmas gifts in the form of news of what's to come this year from The Broke Girl's Guide.

1. First be on the lookout for the official launch of the Broke Girls Shop. I'm excited to announce we've expanded into e-commerce and have created a platform where you can find all of your travel needs in one online space. We'll carry everything from luggage and luggage tags to travel adaptors and neck pillows.

2. Next I've been working tirelessly on learning premiere pro so I could edit all of the travel content I've collected over the years. All of this hard work has led to the exciting launch of our video web series, visual travel guides, and travel diaries. This new channel will launch simultaneously on Youtube, IG Reels, and right here on The Broke Girl's Guide.

3. Lastly I've been taking courses, attending seminars, and speaking with industry experts to bring you the very best tips, tricks, hacks, and advice on all things budget luxury travel. I'll be bulking up this blog with so much content your eyes will explode but I promise your wallet and wanderlust will be very happy!

With that being said it feels good to be back in front of my laptop, where it all started, writing to all of you. My hope for the year is to build trust between us; you know become your super smart, super cute travel bestie who always has the best advice on experiences around the globe. If that sounds like something you'd like to be a part of, buckle up. It's gonna be an awesome adventure!
